Class 13 have been having lots of fun learning the Charleston as part of our work on the 1920s. Our attendance friend, Marvin (the mischievous monkey), even joined in!

As part of our Science work on Space, we went outside to build a giant model of our solar system.

We had lots of fun dressing up in clothes from our favourite decade to celebrate the whole school Dennis' Decades project!

Take a look at some of our fabulous Space work.

To celebrate Roger Bannister completing the four minute mile in the 1950s, all of class 13 completed their own 4 minute mile in teams. Here is our quickest team celebrating their victory!

Class 13 showing off their dance moves during our whole-school sponsored Charleston-athon.

Here's our classroom agreement that we wrote together as part of anti-bullying day.

We had a great time launching our bottle rockets that we have designed and created in DT this term.

Class 13 looking festive in their Christmas jumpers!

Here we are practising our recorder skills. We're getting pretty good!

Thanks to the guys from Sheffield Giants for coming in to teach us all about American Football.

We had great fun learning a cheer leading routine from the Cheermania Allstars head coach as part of our USA Sports Day!

Working together to get through a maze blindfolded helped us to imagine what it would have been like for Theseus being trapped in the dark labyrinth. Luckily, there was no Minotaur in our maze!

Classes 11, 12 and 13 had a really interesting day visiting The Crucible in Sheffield. Look at these fabulous masks that we made, based on those used in Ancient Greek theatres.

The children created their own mythical beasts in the acting workshop. Some were pretty scary!

The highlight of the backstage tour was getting to explore the wardrobe department.

Another lovely trip to Church for our Easter service.

Getting into the Easter spirit!

We had some amazing outfits for World Book Day! Thanks again to all of our parents for going the extra mile.

To kick-off our World War II topic, we imagined what it would have been like living during the war and having to spend time in an air-raid shelter. We even played some war-time games to pass the time!

The children enjoyed having a go on a real air-raid siren. My ear drums are still recovering!
