Visit from Gavin Walker
This year was a special year for sport and to celebrate we had a visit from a Paralympian. Gavin Walker is vice captain of GB's wheelchair rugby team and one of our parents. Gavin came in to the junior building and gave an assembly for all of the children, he even let some of the children have a go in his rugby wheelchair. Gavin told the children all about Wheelchair rugby and what it involves, he also showed us some footage of him in action. It was a really interesting assembly and we are very grateful to Gavin for coming in and sharing with us. We certainly do have the best parents in Rotherham and indeed the world!
