Children In Need 2018

Class 13 had lots of fun getting spotty for Children in Need and, most importantly, raising money to help children who are less fortunate than us.

Design and Technology

We have been busy designing and creating some Tudor Subtleties using marzipan fit for a king!

Creative Homework

Class 13 worked really hard on their creative homework in Autumn 1. Here is just a taster. I can't wait to see what they're working on for Autumn 2!

Gainsborough Old Hall

Class 13 had a brilliant time at Gainsborough Old Hall. We had our very own King Henry VIII and Queen Catherine and put on a royal banquet in their honour, complete with the finest Tudor food, jesters and dancing. All under the watchful eyes of the King's guard.

Harvest Festival

We had a lovely time walking down to Church for the Harvest Festival. As ever, there was some fabulous singing and the children who read out their harvest poems did an amazing job!

Sunflower Poems

Classes 11, 12 and 13 did such a fabulous job of writing simile and metaphor poems that we decided to spend some time sharing them with each other. They loved having the chance to perform their poems as well as hear some from the other classes.

Karate Workshop

Class 13 had a brilliant time at their karate workshop with Mr Nixon. Mrs Hewitt is still recovering though...

Kicking off the topic in style

We had a great circus themed afternoon to kick off our Autumn term topic. We learnt lots of new skills, including juggling, plate spinning and magic tricks!
